The illustration draws inspiration from the concept of Cabinet of Curiosities. 
During the Italian Renaissance, the wealthy adorned their house with cabinets, that were displayed with items collected from a journey or faraway lands. These items weren't just for show. They were conversation starters, sparking tales of wonder, and the objects were the witnesses of the epic adventure.
